Jazz star's death

following the death of Sir Johnny Dankworth I decided to add a tribute part to my magazine even though it will not be my main article, I decided to add it as magazines often do tributes when iconic stars die and it would make my magazine look more realistic.

Splat colour change

I decided to change the splatter affect behind my title to yellow so it would fit in with my house style of yellow,burgundy,black and white.

Paint splatter behind title

To give my title a new and different look I decided to add a paint splatter behind the title, to do this I had to download the splatter set paint brushes from easyelements.com



After I downloaded the paint set and created my splatter on photoshop I put it onto Indesign, I then had to create another layer for my title and place it above the layer I put the splatter on.

Title choice

I created different titles and chose the best 4 out of the ones I had created and asked people to vote on them the black writing with yellow bullseye was the favourite at the start the bullseye was in the centre on the s, but people suggested I move it to the J.

I did another poll and the majority of people agreed with moving it to the J

Music Genre choice

For my music magazine I have decide to creat a Jazz magazine, the reason I have chose Jazz is because it is a interesting music type and it is different from the other magazines.
